The Keizer Public Safety Foundation is a community-supported partner to the Keizer Fire District and Keizer Police Department — funding equipment, programs, training, and initiatives beyond what tax dollars cover.

Join neighbors, local businesses, and first responders for a community breakfast supporting equipment, programs, and training for the Keizer Fire District and Keizer Police Department.
Tax funding keeps Keizer's fire and police services running every day. It does not always stretch to the extras — a training program a captain wants to pilot, a smoke detector for a neighbor who cannot afford one, or a safety camp that connects kids with first responders.
That is the gap this foundation was created to fill.

Support for the loaner station originally installed by board member Samantha Russell in 2017, plus roughly 20 sponsored life jackets each year so families can borrow the right size before they head to the water.
Smoke detectors purchased for Keizer homes. Keizer Fire District personnel install one at no cost when a resident does not have a working detector.
The Keizer Fire Foundation formed in 2017 to help the fire district. In 2025, our mission expanded to include the Keizer Police Department. We now support both — and the neighborhoods they serve — as the Keizer Public Safety Foundation.

Gifts stay local, funding equipment, training, and programs requested by the fire district, the police department, and neighborhood partners.
Residents, businesses, first responders, and this foundation work together. Reach out if you'd like to be part of it.
